Our Social Responsibility
We believe in sharing the benefits of our success, and so we are committed to partnering with organisations that contribute to economic social development on both a local and international scale. Read on to find out about the charitable groups we support.
UNICEF
Today, there are more children in need of humanitarian assistance than at any other time since the Second World War. More than 400 million are currently living in areas under conflict.
UNICEF’s unwavering commitment to decisive and timely humanitarian action that saves the lives of children worldwide is truly commendable. During humanitarian emergencies, UNICEF is one of the first organisations on site, delivering vital relief supplies, ensuring the protection of children, and providing life-saving services. Perl Season End Festival
As well as being a great way to keep physically fit, participation in sport from a young age can help children to learn important life skills like resilience, relationship building, and teamwork.
Organised by Curdin Perl, (a former top international athlete in cross country skiing), the Perl Season End Festival brings together young Swiss Nordic athletes to train, socialise, and participate in a fun downhill race to mark the end of the racing season. The event aims to strengthen team spirit amongst the Nordic athletes, promoting exchange and celebrating the achievements of the entire Nordic family. Find out more here.
Schweizer Tafel
Schweizer Tafel bridges the gap between excess and scarcity, helping the needy in Switzerland in a direct and practical way.
The charity collects surplus, flawless food from wholesalers, producers, and retailers, and distributes it free of charge to social institutions that care for those affected by poverty. The foodstuffs distributed are past their sell-by date, but not their use-by date – and so can therefore be safely reused instead of being thrown away. Find out more here.
Theodora Foundation
Since its beginnings in 1993, the Theodora Foundation has been pursuing its mission to bring laughter and joy to children in hospital.
Every year, the foundation’s Giggle Doctors spread smiles and moments of happiness during thousands of visits to young patients. The Theodora Foundation does not receive any funding from hospitals or the government, and so the much-loved weekly Giggle Doctor visits depend entirely on donations from supporters and partners. Find out more here.
