We are delighted to welcome on board Lucio D’Ambrosio as our Head of Business Development.
Lucio D’Ambrosio joins us following 11 years at Niutec AG – one of the leading private chemical testing laboratories in Switzerland.
Bringing with him over a decade of experience in the MedTech industry, Lucio will be pairing his practical scientific knowledge with his expertise in business administration and leadership to help grow our customer portfolio.
After beginning his career in analytical chemistry, Lucio decided to expand his skillset with a move into service provision in the medical devices sector. The side-step allowed for more customer proximity, and developed Lucio’s proficiency in chemical biocompatibility, process optimisation, quality management, and sales strategy along the way.
During his most recent role as Business Unit Manager, Lucio held overall responsibility for the medical devices testing market – expanding the business unit’s network of partnerships. Alongside this, he held the position of Senior Consultant in the area of chemical biocompatibility and cleanliness of medical devices, providing test strategies, lectures, and training within this field.
On joining Congenius, he said, “I am passionate about life sciences, and enjoy making relevant connections that lead to effective partnerships. Joining Jörg and his team will provide a fantastic opportunity to combine the two – I’m excited to be part of the next phase for Congenius”.
